Why Atlayo Calendar

Simple. Connected. Yours.

A calendar should be a tool, not extra work. That is why you only see what you actually use.

Simple

A new event is a title, a time and you are done. Nothing to learn and nothing to set up first. What you do not need, you do not see.

Connected

You pick participants from your Atlayo contacts and they get a message in Atlayo. Events from Google, Apple or Outlook come over with a file or a link, and Booking reservations land straight in your calendar.

Yours

You sign in with Atlayo ID and from your account we only receive your name, language and picture. No ads. Your events are seen by you and the people you share them with.

Features

Everything you expect from a calendar

The basics you expect, and the things other calendars skip. Anything that is not finished yet is labelled as such.

Day, week, month

Switch the view in one tap and the calendar remembers it. On a phone you also get a clear list for the day.

Multiple calendars

Work, family, sports. Each one has its own colour, even a custom one, and you switch it on or off with a tick.

Sharing with contacts

Pick people from your Atlayo contacts and they can see your calendar. Only you can edit it.

Participants and notifications

Add people from your contacts to an event, even as optional guests. They get a message in the Atlayo app.

Your country’s holidays

We read the country from the prefix of your Atlayo ID number and show its public holidays: in your language for 36 countries, with local names for over 150 more. One toggle switches them off.

Places with suggestions

Start typing an address and the calendar suggests it. No copying from a map.

Recurring events

Daily, weekly, monthly and yearly, or a custom rule. Change just one event, this and all following ones, or the whole series.

Reminders

A heads-up in the Atlayo app before an event starts, from a few minutes to a day ahead. For a recurring event, before every occurrence.

Time zones

An event can have its own zone, like a meeting in London. You see it in your own time, and when you travel you switch the calendar’s zone.

Atlayo Meet in one click

Add a video meeting link to an event. Guests do not need an account.

Import and export

An .ics file, a Google ZIP or a calendar link. Duplicates are skipped and you see a preview before anything is saved. You can export the whole calendar back at any time.

Secret calendar link

Subscribe to your calendar from Google, Apple or Outlook through an .ics address. You can replace or switch the link off at any time.

Switching from another calendar

Move your calendar over from Google, Apple or Outlook

Do you have events in Google, Apple, Outlook or Seznam? Bring them over with a file or a link. You see a preview before anything is saved and nothing is added twice.

Bring over Google Calendar

  • In Google Calendar choose Settings, Import & export, Export and upload the ZIP you get. All your calendars come over at once, each one separately.
  • Or paste the secret iCal address from the calendar’s settings. The calendar then refreshes itself, from Google to us only.
  • You see a preview before anything is saved, duplicates are skipped.
  • Linking your account directly with two-way sync: built, waiting for Google’s approval. Coming soon

Questions

Frequently asked questions

Is Atlayo Calendar free?

Yes. The calendar is free to use right now. All you need is an Atlayo ID.

How do I sign in?

With Atlayo ID, so there is no new password. In the Atlayo app you scan a QR code, or you enter your phone number and confirm the request that arrives there.

I have a Google calendar. What do I do with it?

Bring it over. In Google Calendar choose Settings, Import & export, Export and upload the ZIP you get, where each of your calendars is a separate file. Or paste the secret iCal address and the calendar then refreshes itself. You always see a preview before anything is saved and duplicates are skipped.

Will the Google sync really work both ways?

The direct account link with two-way sync is built; what remains is Google approving our app’s access to calendars. Until then a Google calendar refreshes one way, from Google to us, through the secret iCal address.

What about Apple, Outlook or Seznam?

Each of them can export a calendar as an .ics file or offer a calendar link, and you can bring either one in. A file comes over once, a link keeps refreshing. A direct Outlook connection is something we may add later.

Which holidays does the calendar know?

We read the country from the prefix of the phone number in your Atlayo ID and show its public holidays. For 36 countries (most of Europe, Brazil, Mexico, South Africa and more) you see them in your own language (English where no translation exists), for more than 150 other countries and territories, such as Denmark, Norway, Finland or Japan, with local names. One toggle switches holidays off. The number itself stays with Atlayo ID.

Does it do recurring events, reminders and time zones?

Yes. Repeat daily, weekly, monthly, yearly or by a custom rule, and when you edit you say whether you change just one event, this and the following ones, or the whole series. A reminder arrives as a notification in the Atlayo app. An event can have its own time zone and you see it in yours.

Does it connect with Booking, Meet and Harbor?

Yes. Atlayo Booking reservations are written straight into your calendar, you add an Atlayo Meet link to an event in one click, and you can show Atlayo Harbor events in the calendar, read-only, with just your Harbor address and an API token.

Who can see my events?

You. If you share a calendar with people from your contacts they can see its events, but only you can edit them. Anyone listed as a participant gets a message about the event in the Atlayo app, as long as they have notifications enabled.

Which languages does it support?

The calendar itself comes in 24 languages. This page is in Czech and English.

Does it work on a phone?

Yes, in the browser on a phone and on a computer. On a phone the sidebar gives way to a clear list for the selected day.
