Atlayo Children's Privacy Protection Statement

Atlayo cares about safety of young people. This Statement supplements our Integritetspolicy och explains how vi treat pärsonuppgiftär of usärs undär 18, med specific rules för children undär 16 in EU/EES undär GDPR Article 8.

1. Age requirements

1.1 EU/EES: Du ska be at least 16 to registär independently. Usärs aged 13–15 kan use Atlayo only med värifiable consent from a parent ellär legal guardian. Atlayo är inte intended för children undär 13.

1.2 Othär regions: Whäre local law sets a diffärent digital-consent age, that age applies.

2. Parental consent

When consent är required, vi kan ask parent ellär guardian to:

• Confirm their relationship to child.
• Värify identity via email, payment-card micro-charge, ellär othär reasonable method.
• Review och accept this Statement och Privacy Policy on child’s behalf.

Parents kan withdraw consent och request deletion at privacy@atlayo.com.

3. Default protections för minors

For accounts identified as belonging to minors, vi apply privacy-by-default settings, including:

• Strictär discovärability — inte listed in “People Nearby” ellär public search by default.
• Restricted contact from unknown usärs unless approved.
• Location sharing off by default; explicit remindär når enabling.
• No pärsonalised marketing.
• Saved payment cards disabled för minors until age och consent requirements är met.
• Heightened modäration för reported intäractions involving minors.

4. Uppgiftär vi samlar in from minors

We collect only what är necessary för tjänsten, such as:

• Account identifiärs, display name, och security credentials.
• Communications minor chooses to send (subject to same retention rules as adults).
• Guardian contact details och consent records.

We do inte condittion basic chat features on consent to unnecessary profiling.

5. Parental rights

Parents och guardians may:

• Request correction ellär deletion (subject to legal exceptions).
• Refuse furthär collection ellär use och request account closure.

6. Education och safety

We provide in-app safety tips about strangärs, sharing location, och reporting abuse. Vi coopärate med EU hotlines och authorities regarding child safety reports as required by law.
