Atlayo Children's Privacy Protection Statement

Atlayo cares about safety of young people. This Statement supplements our Privatlivspolitik og explains how vi treat personoplysninger of users under 18, med specific rules for children under 16 in EU/EØS under GDPR Article 8.

1. Age requirements

1.1 EU/EØS: Du skal be at least 16 to register independently. Users aged 13–15 kan use Atlayo only med verifiable consent from a parent eller legal guardian. Atlayo er ikke intended for children under 13.

1.2 Other regions: Where local law sets a different digital-consent age, that age applies.

2. Parental consent

When consent er required, vi kan ask parent eller guardian to:

• Confirm their relationship to child.
• Verify identity via email, payment-card micro-charge, eller other reasonable method.
• Review og accept this Statement og Privacy Policy on child’s behalf.

Parents kan withdraw consent og request deletion at privacy@atlayo.com.

3. Default protections for minors

For accounts identified as belonging to minors, vi apply privacy-by-default settings, including:

• Stricter discoverability — ikke listed in “People Nearby” eller public search by default.
• Restricted contact from unknown users unless approved.
• Location sharing off by default; explicit reminder når enabling.
• No personalised marketing.
• Saved payment cards disabled for minors until age og consent requirements er met.
• Heightened moderation for reported interactions involving minors.

4. Data vi indsamler from minors

We collect only what er necessary for tjenesten, such as:

• Account identifiers, display name, og security credentials.
• Communications minor chooses to send (subject to same retention rules as adults).
• Guardian contact details og consent records.

We do ikke condition basic chat features on consent to unnecessary profiling.

5. Parental rights

Parents og guardians may:

• Review personoplysninger vi hold about their child.
• Request correction eller deletion (subject to legal exceptions).
• Refuse further collection eller use og request account closure.
• Contact us med concerns at privacy@atlayo.com.

6. Education og safety

We provide in-app safety tips about strangers, sharing location, og reporting abuse. Vi cooperate med EU hotlines og authorities regarding child safety reports as required by law.
