Why Atlayo Meet

Fast. Simple. Private.

Fast

Everyone sends their video once and the server hands it to others at a quality they can handle. On a weak connection the picture drops, not the audio.

Simple

No app, no account. The link works in the browser on desktop and phone, and joining takes seconds.

Private

Calls are encrypted in transit, we do not record meetings and chat disappears when you finish. The waiting room, lock and password keep uninvited guests out, and optional end-to-end encryption hides the content even from our server.

Features

Everything you need in a meeting

No add-ons and no clutter. Just what you actually use on a call.

Screen sharing

Share your whole screen, a window or a tab. The presentation fills the stage while everyone else sits in a strip beside it.

In-meeting chat

Messages with clickable links. Nothing is stored on the server and it is gone when you close the tab.

Live captionsChrome · Edge · Safari

Real-time speech transcription in Czech, English and more. Recognition is handled by your browser (in Chrome and Edge by Google or Microsoft) and you turn it on yourself.

Raised hand and reactions

Ask for the floor without interrupting. Reactions float up across the whole tile.

Waiting room, lock and password

The host admits people one by one or all at once, can lock the meeting and protect it with a password.

Scheduling and calendar

Name the meeting, set the time and length and add it to your calendar as an .ics file or through Google Calendar.

End-to-end encryption

Optional for audio, video and chat. The key lives only in the link and the server never receives it.

Host and co-host

Mute everyone, remove a participant, stop someone’s screen share. Invite a co-host with a secret link.

Connection quality

You see each participant’s connection quality, and on a slow network you can pick a lighter video quality.

Smart layout

Grid, speaker or pinned. The active speaker is highlighted and large meetings are split into pages.

Clean audio

Noise suppression, echo cancellation and automatic volume, each one switch away.

Works on mobile

The same app in your phone’s browser, no download. Flip between front and back camera in one tap.

Keyboard shortcuts

M, V, S, H, C, P and more. Everything works without a mouse, and ? shows the full list.

Transcript and chat download

Save the caption transcript and the chat as a text file. They survive a page reload.

Host-side recordingDesktop

The host can record the meeting to their own computer. Everyone sees a “Recording” badge and nothing is sent to the server.

How it works

Three steps, five seconds

  1. 1

    Create a meeting

Click “New meeting”. You get a link and you are the host.

  2. 2

    Send the link

Copy it or share it in one tap. Guests do not need an account.

  3. 3

    Talk

Turn on your camera, share your screen, chat. Done.

Privacy

Privacy is not an add-on. It is the default.

We do not need to know anything about you for you to make a call, so we do not collect anything.

  • Calls are encrypted in transit.
  • Optional end-to-end encryption (audio, video and chat) and a meeting password.
  • We do not record meetings and we do not store chat after they end.
  • No required account, no ads and no tracking cookies. Signing in with Atlayo ID is optional.
  • It runs on servers in the EU (Czechia, Germany), with no ads and no analytics.

We like to be precise: by default media passes through our server. You turn on end-to-end encryption per meeting and the server then cannot decrypt the content. It still always sees participant names and join times. Privacy policy

FAQ

What people ask

Is Atlayo Meet free?

Yes. Right now it is free to use, with no required sign-up.

Do I need an account?

No. You can create and join a meeting without one. Signing in with Atlayo ID adds a “My meetings” list, running your meetings from any device, the option to admit signed-in people only, and a marker in the waiting room showing who is signed in. Signing in is always optional.

Do I need to install anything?

No. Any recent Chrome, Edge, Firefox or Safari works, on desktop and mobile. Open the link and you are in.

How many people can join?

Up to 100 people per meeting. The grid shows up to 25 tiles at once, more are on further pages, and the active speaker is always brought to the front.

Is the call end-to-end encrypted?

Optionally. By default the call is encrypted in transit between your device and our server, which relays video to the other participants, and the server does not store audio or video. When you create a meeting you can turn on end-to-end encryption (under “More options”). Audio, video and chat are then encrypted in the browser with a key from the link, which the server never receives and cannot use to decrypt the content. Always share the full link.

Can I schedule a meeting or protect it with a password?

Yes, even without an account. Under “More options” you set a name, date, time and length, and add the meeting to your calendar as an .ics file or through Google Calendar. You can also protect entry with a password, the waiting room and end-to-end encryption. People can join at any time, not only at the scheduled time.

Do you record meetings?

Our server does not record or store meetings. The host can record a meeting themselves, though (on desktop, in the “More” menu): the recording is made in the host’s browser, saved only to their device, and everyone in the meeting sees a “Recording” badge. We do not offer AI summaries yet. You can download the caption transcript and chat yourself.

Does it work on a corporate network or VPN?

Usually yes. If a firewall blocks the UDP that carries the video, the connection switches by itself to encrypted TCP over port 443, which even stricter corporate networks let through. If that does not help either (for example a network that only allows ordinary browsing through a proxy), try another network or a phone hotspot.

How do the waiting room and lock work?

The host turns on the waiting room: newcomers see “Waiting to be admitted” and the host lets them in one by one or all at once. The lock stops anyone else from joining at all.

Can I share my screen from a phone?

Most mobile browsers do not offer screen sharing. That is a platform limit, not an app one. On desktop it always works.
